Information Management Priorities Assessment

Project: XIST recently conducted a broad analysis of information management processes and technologies for an international organization. The purpose of this study was (1) to identify and isolate areas of highest need, and (2) develop practical recommendations to improve these priorities. Research was gathered through analysis of existing processes, development of custom surveys, and facilitation of private interviews with staff in Canada, Africa and South America. Key areas reviewed included communication processes, data interoperability, current awareness and knowledge management practices, project management functions, contacts management, and document management processes.
